ABOUT Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). The launch has proven all the new technologies developed by Agnikul and also earned recognition from Honourable Prime Minister of India We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and taking ownership.

This is not a role focused on managing large teams or delegating work. You'll be expected to design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and actively participate in deployments while mentoring a small engineering team. RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the complete IT infrastructure, including enterprise networking, IP surveillance, wireless, firewalls, and related systems.

Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network and CCTV infrastructure across multiple locations.

Take end-to-end ownership of incidents—from identifying the issue to implementing a permanent solution.

Lead infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and migrations while remaining actively involved in implementation.

Build reliable, scalable, and secure network architectures with minimal operational overhead.

Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors,



and OEMs while independently driving technical decisions.

Automate repetitive operational tasks wherever possible and improve monitoring and alerting.

Mentor junior engineers while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting, deployments, and escalations.

Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, BOQs, and implementation plans when required.

Be willing to step in wherever needed, whether it's configuring a switch, diagnosing a network outage, or supporting a site deployment.

​ Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with IP CCTV solutions, including VMS, NVRs, ONVIF, RTSP, storage, and camera deployments.

Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, surveillance, and infrastructure environments.

Experience deploying or maintaining multi-site infrastructure.

Ability to independently own projects from design through implementation and support.

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.

Experience mentoring engineers while continuing to contribute technically.

Network automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Linux administration

VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox

Cloud networking (AWS/Azure)

Monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, LibreNMS, etc.)

CCNA, CCNP, NSE, or equivalent certifications
