Job PurposeTo manage end-to-end warehouse operations for raw materials and packing materials, ensuring accurate receipt, compliant storage, timely issuance to production, and rigorous inventory control in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Key Responsibilities

1.

Material

Receipt & Quality Assurance

Organize the receiving of raw materials and packing materials, ensuring immediate quarantine status.

Prepare Goods Arrival Reports (GAR) or Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for material sampling.

Ensure accurate inspection of incoming consignments against purchase orders and vendor documentation.

Handle storage according to material specifications (e.g., Temperature Controlled Stores (TCS), hazardous storage, light-sensitive items).

Inventory

Control & Management

Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records in SAP/ERP or WMS.

Implement and enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) techniques to minimize material aging.





Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with the accounting team.

Manage retest dates and proactively report expired or near-expiry materials to the concerned departments.

- Issuance & Logistics

Issue raw materials and packing materials to production in accordance withBatch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Production Planning.

Ensure proper identification, labeling, and tagging of all material movements.

Maintain accurate records for the receipt, issue, and reconciliation of labels and printed packing materials.

- Compliance, Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure the warehouse meets all regulatory (ISO) standards for GMP compliance.

Maintain a protected and hygienic working environment (5S compliance), managing pests and cleanliness.

Ensure proper calibration and verification of electronic weighing balances.

Lead the department during internal/external audits and prepare necessary documents.

Staff

Management & Coordination

Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff on SOPs and safety protocols.

Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and QC teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in raw material/packing material warehouse management in a FMCG plant.

Systems: Proficiency in ERP inventory software.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and safety standards (MSDS).

Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
