Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in India for an Intune and SCCM Application Packaging Specialist. The role involves designing, creating, testing, and maintaining application packages for deployment through Microsoft Intune and SCCM, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security across the organization’s endpoint environment. The specialist will manage software distribution, updates, and patching, monitor deployment success, and troubleshoot packaging and installation issues.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with IT infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, standardize packaging practices, and document procedures and technical configurations.



The role also includes continuous improvement of packaging processes, maintaining compliance with company policies, and supporting lifecycle management of applications.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Packing and Packaging Engineering to build, configure, and optimize application packages for Intune and SCCM deployment.

Candidates should possess skills in Packaging Design and Quality Control to ensure packages meet usability, performance, and compliance standards across diverse environments.

Candidates should possess skills in Research to evaluate new tools, packaging methods, and best practices, and to resolve complex compatibility or deployment issues.

Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, SCCM (ConfigMgr), Windows operating systems, and common enterprise software deployment frameworks.

Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, batch) for automation of packaging, deployment, and reporting tasks.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on stability, security, and user experience.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional IT and business teams, and to document technical procedures clearly.

Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in large, global or industrial organizations and familiarity with ITIL-based service management is an advantage.
