Role Description The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive adult medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.

The physician will coordinate care with other specialists, participate in clinical decision-making, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and quality standards. Additional duties include maintaining accurate medical records, counseling patients and families on disease prevention and health promotion, and participating in case discussions or clinical meetings as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beawar,



requiring regular presence at the hospital and participation in duty rosters, including emergency or on-call coverage as assigned.

Qualifications

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD) or equivalent, with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- Strong clinical skills in adult medicine, including history taking, physical examination, diagnostic reasoning, and management of common acute and chronic illnesses.
- Ability to interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic tests, and integrate findings into patient care plans.
- Clear, empathetic communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including documentation in a structured and timely manner.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, manage caseloads efficiently, and participate in emergency and on-call duties.
- Openness to continuous professional development, participation in clinical audits, and engagement with evidence-based medicine.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting or internal medicine department is preferred; familiarity with electronic medical records is an added advantage.
