About the Role We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for reviewing bookkeeping records, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and preparing financial reporting packages. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Role & Responsibilities

- Reviewing financial transactions (India and Canada) and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Performing bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintaining General Ledger accuracy and investigating variances.
- Preparing HST/GST reconciliations and supporting workpapers.
- Supporting year-end accounting processes and documentation requirements.
- Assisting with financial analysis and management reporting.




- Identifying accounting issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to improve accounting processes and controls.

Skills & Qualifications

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Knowledge of month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting systems (Data Entry) • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial statements draft, GST/HST returns, sales tax preparation, and assisting in tax filing purposes • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience. with at least 1–2 years handling US or Canadian accounting workflows.
- Experience preparing financial reports and performing reconciliations.
- Exposure to GST/HST processes is preferred.
- Experience in a professional services, accounting, or finance environment is preferred. Perks
