We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Designer who can manage end-to-end project operations, create client proposals, and ensure cost-effective execution. The ideal candidate should combine creative design skills with strong operational and commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities1. Interior Design & Planning
- Develop creative and functional design concepts for residential and commercial spaces
- Prepare layouts, 2D/3D designs, mood boards, and material selections
- Understand client requirements and translate them into practical designs
2. Proposal & Client Handling
- Prepare detailed client proposals, including:
- Design concepts
- Scope of work
- Cost estimates & BOQs
- Present proposals to clients and handle design discussions
- Coordinate with sales/business team for conversions
3. Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end project execution from design to handover
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams
- Ensure timely delivery of projects with quality standards
- Monitor site progress and resolve execution challenges
4. Cost Optimization & Budgeting
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Optimize material selection and vendor negotiation
- Ensure profitability and minimize wastage
5. Vendor & Site Coordination
- Work closely with carpenters, electricians, painters, and suppliers
- Conduct regular site visits and quality checks
- Maintain vendor relationships and pricing benchmarks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design or related field
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or similar
- Strong understanding of materials, costing, and BOQ preparation
- Experience in handling site execution & operations
- Positive communication and client-handling skills
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in turnkey interior projects
- Knowledge of modular furniture and space optimization
- Exposure to luxury or premium interior projects (if applicable)
