Interior Designer (Real Estate Developer)

Job Summary The Interior Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing interior spaces for residential and commercial projects while ensuring functionality, aesthetics, quality, and timely project delivery. The role requires close coordination with architects, project teams, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality interiors aligned with the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

- Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements and project specifications.
- Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, and detailed working drawings.
- Create 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentation materials.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories suitable for the project.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Architects, Structural, MEP, QS, Purchase, and Site Execution teams.
- Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure adherence to approved drawings.
- Resolve design-related issues during execution.
- Attend project review meetings and provide design updates.

Vendor & Material Management

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for material selection and execution.
- Evaluate samples and recommend suitable products.
- Ensure timely procurement of interior materials.

Client Interaction

- Present design concepts to clients.




- Understand customer requirements and incorporate approved modifications.
- Maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control

- Ensure interior works comply with company quality standards.
- Verify workmanship, finishing quality, and material specifications.
- Identify and rectify deviations during execution.

Documentation

- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and finish schedules.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, revisions, and approvals.
- Submit weekly and monthly project progress reports.

Cost & Timeline Management

- Coordinate with QS for cost estimation and budgeting.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion.
- Minimize material wastage and design-related rework.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: 2–8 years in residential or commercial interior projects (Real Estate experience preferred).

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max / V-Ray / Lumion (preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop
- MS Office
- Robust knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and furniture.
- Excellent space planning and visualization skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
