Role Description The Interior Design Intern role at Gyanman Interiors is a contract position in a hybrid work model, based in Kanpur with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in developing design concepts, preparing space plans, and creating mood boards and presentations under the guidance of senior designers.

Daily tasks include supporting material and furniture selection, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) details, and helping with drawings and documentation. The intern will collaborate with the design and project teams,



communicate with vendors when needed, and help maintain project files and sample libraries. This role offers practical exposure to end-to-end interior design and project execution in both residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications

- Ability to work on Space Planning and Interior Design tasks, including layout development and basic concept creation.
- Knowledge of Furniture and FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, coordination, and specification.
- Solid Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva).
- Attention to detail, a strong design sense, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work in a hybrid setting in Kanpur, and handle multiple tasks under supervision.
