Key Responsibilities:

1. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

- Conduct trademark searches and provide legal opinion.
- Coordinate domestic and international trademark searches, filings, renewals, oppositions, and prosecution matters with external counsels.
- Assist in managing design registrations, copyright filings, and other IP-related registrations.
- Maintain and update trademark, design, and copyright portfolios and trackers.
- Monitor trademark watch notices and identify potentially infringing marks.
- Support enforcement actions against trademark and design infringements.

- Litigation Management
- 138 Ni Cases, Consumer Cases, Trademark Infringement Cases.
- Prepare case summaries, draft legal Notice, Demand Notice, and documentation for legal proceedings.
- Coordinate with external counsels for ongoing litigation matters.
- Manage and maintain records relating to litigation, including consumer cases, cheque bounce matters under Section 138 NI Act, recovery matters, and IP disputes.
- Track court hearings, maintain litigation MIS, and ensure timely submission of documents and information.

- Legal Advisory
- Conduct legal research and prepare internal legal notes and opinions.




- Support cross-functional teams on legal and regulatory matters impacting business operations.
- MIS & Process Management
- Maintain trackers and MIS for trademarks, designs, litigation, raids, and legal notices.
- Develop and update SOPs for legal processes and documentation.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management review.

- Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with concern departments and external legal counsels for legal matters.
- Ensure timely responses and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Role & responsibilities

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- LLB from a recognized university.
- 818 years of experience in Intellectual Property, litigation, and legal compliance.
- Experience in the Footwear, Retail, Apparel, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing sector will be preferred.
- Valuable understanding of:
- Trademark Law
- Designs Act, 2000
- Copyright Act, 1957
- Consumer Protection Laws
- Negotiable Instruments Act
- Experience in handling external counsels and maintaining litigation/IP trackers.
- Proficiency in legal MIS management.
