Role Description The Insurance Agent role is a part-time, hybrid position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with a mix of on-site client meetings and work-from-home activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying prospective clients, explaining life insurance and financial protection solutions, and recommending suitable products aligned with customer needs and life stages.

The Insurance

Agent will manage customer inquiries, support policy applications and documentation, and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure policy renewals and cross-selling opportunities.



The role also involves staying updated on company products, regulatory guidelines, and market trends, and using digital tools to track leads, prepare proposals, and report sales performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain life insurance solutions.

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand product structures, premiums, and long-term financial planning.

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, handle queries, and maintain long-term client relationships.

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in clear, simple language.

- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.

- Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, CRM systems, office productivity software) for lead management and reporting.

- Previous experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.

- Minimum educational qualification typically at the high school or undergraduate level; local regulatory licensing or certification for insurance agents, where applicable, is preferred.
