: Hyperion Technical Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hyperion Technical Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage financial planning and consolidation solutions within the Oracle Hyperion ecosystem. You will play a critical role in supporting application management services (AMS), handling minor enhancements, and ensuring seamless month-, quarter-, and year-end financial close processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Application Management: Design, implement, and manage Hyperion Planning, HFM, and Essbase solutions.
- Cube Management: Build, optimize, and maintain Hyperion Essbase cubes to enhance reporting and data analysis.
- Support & Incident Resolution: Manage Incidents and Service Requests raised by Business and IT teams, ensuring response and resolution within strict SLAs.
- Problem Management: Perform root cause analysis (RCA for P1 and P2 incidents to prevent recurring issues.
- Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot applications, apply patches/upgrades, optimize performance, and escalate technical issues to vendors when necessary.
- Financial Close Support: Provide critical support to business teams during month-end, quarter-end,



and financial year-end close processes.
- Requirement Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform Gap Analysis, and map out SDLC/Agile implementation lifecycles.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor L1/L2 support teams and participate in disaster recovery and automation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Technical Skills:

- Core Hyperion Suite: Strong hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), Hyperion Planning, and Oracle Essbase.
- Data Integration: Proficiency with FDMEE / FDM for data mapping and loading.
- ITIL Framework: Strong knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Project Delivery: Experience managing Hyperion projects from inception to completion within Agile environments.

Positive-to-Have Skills:

- OneStream: Knowledge of or exposure to OneStream platforms for AMS support.
- Financial Domain: Strong understanding of Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting modules.
- Certification: Oracle Hyperion Certification is a major plus.
