Human Resources (HR) Executive / HR Manager

Location: IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh (On-site)

We are looking for a motivated HR Executive / HR Manager to join our team at IIT Kanpur. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building processes, and contributing to a fast-growing AI startup.

While your primary responsibility will be Human Resources, this is a startup environment where every team member contributes beyond a single function. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, taking ownership of new challenges, and supporting cross-functional initiatives whenever needed. This role offers excellent exposure to HR, operations, administration, people management, and startup execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.

Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Support performance management and employee feedback processes.

Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance.





Organize employee engagement activities and internal communications.

Handle day-to-day HR operations and resolve employee queries.

Collaborate with founders and team leads on hiring plans and workforce initiatives.

Support administrative, operational, and cross-functional projects as required, embracing a startup mindset and taking ownership beyond traditional HR responsibilities.

Qualifications

6 months to 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or a related role.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and HR tools is preferred.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Interest in AI, technology, and startups is an added advantage.
