Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

- Hire for roles: Cashiers, Store Helpers, Stockers, Delivery Boys, Department In-charges
- Post job ads, screen resumes, conduct interviews
- Complete onboarding, documentation, and store orientation for new hires

1. Staff Management & Scheduling

- Prepare weekly duty rosters and shift schedules
- Track attendance, leaves, late comings, and overtime
- Ensure adequate staff coverage during peak hours, weekends, and festivals

1. Training & Performance

- Train recent staff on billing, POS, product placement, hygiene, and customer service
- Conduct refresher training on store policies and safety
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback

1. Payroll & Compliance Support

- Maintain staff records and attendance sheets
- Support payroll processing with salary, bonus, and deduction data




- Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI if applicable

1. Employee Relations

- Address staff grievances and resolve conflicts
- Implement store policies on conduct, uniform, leave, and discipline
- Maintain a positive work environment and boost staff morale

Requirements

- Education: 12th Pass / Graduate. Diploma in HR is a plus
- Experience: 1-3 years in HR/Retail/Grocery/Supermarket preferred

Skills: Good communication in English + Hindi + Local language

Basic Excel and computer knowledge

Strong organizational and people management skills

Ability to handle multiple staff and work under pressure
