The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of assigned areas. This includes cleaning rooms, common areas, restrooms, and ensuring a secure and pleasant environment for guests, residents, or employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
- Change bed linens and make beds (if applicable).
- Replenish toiletries, towels, and other supplies.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Respond to guest or customer requests promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
