We are seeking an experienced and responsible Hostel Caretaker to oversee daily hostel operations, ensure student discipline, maintain cleanliness and security, and manage general hostel administrative matters.

JOB PROFILE &

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Hostel Operations: Supervise day-to-day operations of the student hostel, room allotments, furniture inventory, and overall cleanliness. Discipline &

• Safety: Maintain strict discipline, monitor evening night rolls/curfew times, enforce hostel rules, and prevent unauthorized visitors or misconduct. Mess &

• Food Supervision: Oversee mess operations, ensure food quality and hygiene standards, and handle student feedback regarding dining facilities. Maintenance Coordination: Identify electrical, plumbing, or structural maintenance issues and coordinate prompt repairs with maintenance staff. Student Welfare &

• Medical Support: Attend to student medical emergencies, provide immediate assistance, and inform institutional authorities/parents whenever necessary. Record Keeping &

• Registers: Maintain accurate student entry/exit registers, leave records, visitor logs, and fee/dues registers.

QUALIFICATIONS &

REQUIREMENTS Experience Requirement: Must have adequate prior experience in managing student hostels,



residential complexes, or institutional caretaking matters. Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Graduate degree in any discipline. Availability: Immediate Joiner preferred. Key Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, crisis management, and effective communication skills in Odia and English/Hindi.
