Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hostel Warden role based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar I.

The Hostel

Warden is responsible for the overall supervision and smooth functioning of hostel facilities, ensuring safety, discipline, and well-being of residents. Daily responsibilities include monitoring hostel premises, managing room allocation, coordinating maintenance and housekeeping, and addressing student concerns promptly. The role involves enforcing hostel rules, maintaining records, overseeing attendance,



and coordinating with academic and administrative departments as needed.

The Hostel

Warden also supports pastoral care, conducts regular meetings with residents, and assists in emergency and grievance handling.

Qualifications

- Proven ability in hostel or residential facility administration, including supervision of daily operations and coordination with support staff.

- Strong people management and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to maintain discipline while fostering a supportive workplace.

- Effective communication and counseling skills to interact with students, parents, and institutional stakeholders.

- Organizational and record-keeping abilities, including managing attendance, room allotment, and incident documentation.

- Basic knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures in a residential setting.

- Ability to work flexible hours, remain available for urgent matters, and stay on campus if required.

- Previous experience as a warden, residential supervisor, or similar role in an educational institution is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; training in education, social work, or management is an added advantage.
