We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Department – Radiology to lead our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the department, overseeing radiology services, ensuring high standards of patient care, and leading a team of radiologists and technicians. You will play a key role in shaping the department's strategies, clinical practices, and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Radiology department
- Supervise and mentor a team of radiologists, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure the department adheres to clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards
- Develop and implement policies for effective radiology services
- Provide expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging techniques, including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, and other modalities
- Lead the implementation of new technology and radiology systems
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care




- Monitor departmental performance, review cases, and ensure high-quality diagnostics
- Participate in departmental budgets, staffing decisions, and resource management
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development for staff
- Act as a liaison between the Radiology department and hospital administration

Requirements:

- MD/DNB in Radiology
- 10+ years of experience in Radiology, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Solid knowledge of radiological imaging techniques and technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to implement and maintain clinical protocols and departmental standards
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with radiology equipment and systems management
