At Rocket India, the Team Lead Foreclosure / FHA Claims plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day FHA claims operations within the U.S. mortgage servicing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant submission of FHA claim types while guiding a high-performing team, strengthening operational controls, and helping reduce risk, delays, and curtailments.

About the Role

- Lead daily operations for the FHA claims processing team, ensuring timely and accurate claim preparation and submission.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of FHA claims processors while monitoring productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.
- Oversee the submission of FHA claim types, including Part A, Part B, CWCOT, Pre-Foreclosure Sale, and Loss Mitigation claims, in alignment with HUD guidelines and documentation standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to HUD, investor, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.
- Assign daily workloads, manage queues, and identify process gaps or automation opportunities to improve cycle times and reduce curtailments.
- Conduct regular quality control reviews, validate claim accuracy, and ensure supporting documentation meets FHA submission criteria.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex claim scenarios, curtailment risks, and HUD audit findings.
- Partner with foreclosure, loss mitigation, property preservation, accounting, and other cross-functional teams to ensure claim readiness and data accuracy.
- Prepare daily and weekly performance reports, track KPIs, and communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.





Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on foreclosure or FHA claims processing experience within U.S. mortgage servicing, Escrow, Foreclosure.
- Experience working with mortgage servicing systems.
- Strong understanding of FHA claims processes, HUD timelines, documentation requirements, and servicing compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to review claim files, identify documentation gaps, and support accurate claim submission.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in a lead, senior specialist, or supervisory role.
- Experience supporting process improvement, queue management, reporting, or automation initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of claim curtailment prevention, audit readiness, and cross-functional mortgage servicing workflows.
- Ability to coach team members, drive accountability, and foster a quality-focused operating culture.
