High/-Volume Charge Process as a Charge Entry Executive Our healthcare Revenue Cycle Management RCM division 's "Data Fidelity Architect " and "Claims Origin Authority " is the Charge Entry Executive. Your main responsibility is to methodically convert medical encounter records, super/-bills, and clinical documentation into organized financial claims in our Practice Management PM systems. You play a crucial front/-end role in the revenue cycle as the "First/-Pass Claim Integrity Guardian, " making sure that patient demographics, provider credentials, and medical codes are input precisely and sent without any delays.

Responsibilities High/-Volume Charge Creation & Processing/: Examine and record patient encounter information from hospital sheets, clinical super/-bills, and electronic health records, then convert it into structured charges in the PM system. Verify the patient 's demographics by entering and comparing information from their profile, such as insurance policy groupings, subscriber IDs, benefit state coordination, and current eligibility dates.

Medical Coding

Mapping & Validation/: As directed by the medical coding unit, apply and map the appropriate diagnostic codes, procedural parameters, and healthcare supply codes. Modifier & Linkage Optimization/:



Strictly adhere to National Correct Coding Initiative revisions by appropriately linking billing modifiers to certain CPT lines and establishing precise code connections to prove medical necessity.

Provider Information Validation/: Verify that rendering, referring, and billing provider attributes such as National Provider Identifiers NPI and Tax IDs&mdashalign; with payer enrollment regulations by matching and entering appropriate provider identifiers.

Skills/: US Healthcare RCM Infrastructure Literacy/: Thorough operational knowledge of front/-end medical billing procedures, such as charge schedules, clearinghouse scrubbing regulations, and the claim lifecycle.

Medical

Terminology & Billing Format Familiarity/: The ability to recognize terminology, formatting guidelines, and structural fields in both qualified CMS/-1500 and institutional UB/-04 billing frameworks.

Practice Management Platform Navigation Fluency/: The ability to navigate sophisticated enterprise healthcare software suites with ease.
