Role Description The Head of Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities within the manufacturing facility. This role includes planning and executing production schedules, managing daily operations on the shop floor, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Head of Production will lead and mentor production teams, coordinate with cross-functional departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, and monitor resource utilization for optimal output.

The role involves managing production budgets, driving process improvements, resolving operational issues,



and preparing regular reports on performance, capacity, and efficiency. The individual is expected to maintain a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance with pharmaceutical industry guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid skills in Production Planning and Production Management to oversee schedules, capacity, and workflow.

Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to optimize processes, ensure compliance, and maintain production efficiency.

Candidates should possess Team Management skills to lead, mentor, and develop diverse production teams.

Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage production costs, resources, and financial performance.

Degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications in operations or industrial management are an advantage.

Significant experience in pharmaceutical or related regulated manufacturing environments, including leadership responsibility.

Strong knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical production.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
