The role will own operational governance, fund accounting oversight, investor servicing, regulatory reporting, taxation coordination, audit management, onboarding, trade operations, reconciliations and vendor ecosystem management.

This is a leadership role responsible for building robust control frameworks, managing operational risk, driving process excellence, and ensuring seamless support for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Alternatives Operations Leadership

Lead all operational activities across multiple alternative investment vehicles including:

- Category II AIFs
- Category III AIFs
- PMS mandates
- Offshore/GIFT City structures
- Real estate and private credit funds

Provide centralized governance, operating model oversight and strategic direction across operational teams.

- Fund Operations & Fund Accounting Oversight oversee :
- NAV review and approval
- Fund accounting controls
- Management fee and performance fee validation
- Expense allocations
- Fund-level books and records
- Investor allocations
- Portfolio and asset reconciliations
- Corporate action accounting
- Drawdowns and distributions

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all operational deliverables.

- Regulatory, Compliance & Audit Management

Drive adherence to

- SEBI PMS Regulations
- SEBI AIF Regulations
- GIFT City / IFSCA requirements
- RBI reporting requirements
- Tax and statutory regulations

Serve as escalation owner for regulators,



auditors and compliance teams.

5. Trade Operations & Treasury Management

Oversee operational support for

- Equity and derivative settlements
- Hedge fund trade processing
- Custody operations
- Fund transfers
- Treasury movements
- Margin management
- Corporate actions
- Daily pricing controls

Ensure zero operational losses and robust maker-checker controls.

- Controls, Risk & Governance

Own

- Operational risk management
- Process controls
- Exception monitoring
- Escalation frameworks
- Business continuity planning
- SLA governance
- Operational MIS

Drive a culture of control, accountability and continuous improvement.

- Stakeholder Management

Act as senior operational interface with:

- Custodians
- RTAs
- Bankers
- Auditors
- Tax advisors
- Fund administrators
- Compliance teams
- Fund managers
- Sales and Investor Relations teams

Support new launches and product expansions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• CA preferred

• MBA Finance / CFA desirable

Experience

- 15-22 years of relevant experience

• Minimum 8-10 years in leadership roles

• Experience in PMS, AIF, Fund Accounting or Asset Management Operations The ideal candidate should possess:

• Deep understanding of Alternative Investments operating models

• Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF and PMS regulations

• Strong fund accounting and NAV expertise

• Understanding of taxation applicable to funds and investors

• Ability to manage multiple fund structures simultaneously

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Experience handling audits and regulatory inspection
