Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and business-focused professional to lead our Forwarding & Logistics operations at the branch level. The role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent customer relationships, and proven experience in driving business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency in freight forwarding.

He will be responsible for managing the business P&L;, expanding the customer base, building strategic partnerships, and leading teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management & Growth

- Lead the overall Forwarding & Logistics business for the branch.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and budget targets.
- Manage the business P&L; and ensure sustainable business growth.
- Develop and implement business expansion plans to increase market presence.

Customer & Business Development

- Manage and grow key corporate customer accounts.
- Identify recent business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and ensure excellent service.

Operations Management

- Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Logistics.
- Ensure smooth operations,



regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
- Drive operational improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Financial Management

- Monitor collections and working capital to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve business profitability.
- Ensure effective budgeting and financial control.

Team Management

- Lead and guide teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Develop a high-performance work culture with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Desired Profile

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
- Strong experience in leading business operations and managing large teams.
- Good network and working relationships with shipping lines and airlines.
- Experience in handling project cargo and specialized shipments will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of managing corporate customers and driving business growth.
- Experience in P&L; management, budgeting, and collections.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
