GAG Coffee is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our café operations. If you have strong specialty coffee knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily café operations and manage the barista team.
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee consistently.
- Train and mentor new and existing baristas.
- Ensure beverage quality, recipe consistency, and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, and minimize wastage.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness as per company SOPs.
- Monitor and maintain coffee machines,
grinders, and café equipment.
- Handle customer feedback and ensure excellent service.
- Prepare daily operational and inventory reports.
- Support new outlet openings and staff training when required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of café or specialty coffee experience.
- Previous experience as a Senior or Head Barista.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, grinder calibration, and latte art.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
