Position : Domain Consultant - Core Banking Operations

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Domain Consultant / Banking SME with strong expertise in Temenos T24 (Temenos Transact) and Core Banking Operations, including exposure to Islamic Banking products and processes. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, driving requirement analysis, functional consulting, testing support, and banking domain guidance across implementation and transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Core Banking & Domain Consulting :

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact implementations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Review BRDs, FRDs, test scenarios, and business processes.
- Support development, testing, and business teams with domain guidance.
- Validate business flows across account opening, lending, payments, and customer management.

Islamic Banking

Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Islamic Banking products :

a. Murabaha b. Ijara c. Musharaka d. Mudaraba e. Wakala f. Istisna g. Sukuk

- Validate Shariah-compliant banking processes within T24 modules.
- Work closely with business stakeholders on product configuration and compliance requirements.

3. Temenos T24 Functional Expertise :

- Hands-on experience in :

a. AA (Arrangement Architecture)

b. LD (Lending)

c. FT (Funds Transfer)

d. ACCOUNT e. CUSTOMER f.

Islamic Banking

Modules (IB.-)

- Exposure to payments and integration :

a. SWIFT MT103 / MT202

b. ISO 20022

c. PACS.008 / PACS.009

d.



RTGS / ACH

4. Testing & Delivery Support :

- Review functional test cases, SIT and UAT scenarios.
- Support defect analysis and root cause identification.
- Conduct domain workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with banking SMEs, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
- Participate in Agile and Waterfall delivery projects.

Mandatory Skills :

- 10 years of Banking Domain experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact.
- Strong expertise in Core Banking Operations.
- Experience in T24 implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
- Functional knowledge of :

a. AA b. LD c. FT d. ACCOUNT e. CUSTOMER f.

Islamic Banking

Modules

- Robust understanding of :

a. Account opening b. Lending lifecycle c. Payments d. GL postings e. Banking operations

- Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, FSDs, and UAT documentation.

Preferred Skills :

- Temenos Infinity, Temenos Payments Hub, SWIFT MT/MX & ISO 20022, JIRA, Zephyr, BDD, SQL (Oracle/MS SQL), HP ALM/QC.
- Experience with GCC/MENA Banking Clients.
- Knowledge of SAMA, CBUAE, QCB, CBB Bahrain Regulations.
- Exposure to Finacle or other Core Banking Platforms.
- Certifications such as CAIIB, ISTQB, CDCS.
