Research/Job Area- Department No. of Post Computer Science & Engineering 2 Electronics & Communication Engineering 2 Humanities and Basic Sciences (Physics) 1 Humanities and Basic Sciences (Mathematics) 1 Area of Specialization but NOT limited to: (Computer Science & Engineering) Note: UG and PG degrees shall be in Engineering streams in the relevant discipline of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
Machine Learning, Big data Technologies, Cyber Security, cryptography, Data Science, Networking,
Internet of Things, WSN, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Machine Translation and NLP, Data
Mining and Data Warehouse, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, High-Performance Computing, Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, Algorithms, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, and any other relevant specialization.
Area of Specialization but NOT limited to: (Electronics & Communication Engineering) RF & Microwaves, Microelectronics and VLSI Design, Optical Communication, Communication Systems & Networking, Microprocessor and Embedded Systems Design, Analog & Digital Circuits, Adaptive Signal Processing, Electronic Devices & Circuits,
Signal & Image Processing, Wireless & Mobile Communication, Optoelectronics, and any other relevant specialization.
Location- Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati, Manipur
Eligibility/Qualification– Ph.D. in appropriate discipline. First Class in both UG and PG degrees or with a CGPA of 6.5 on 10 point scale in both UG and PG degrees
Candidates who have completed defense for the Ph.D. before the closing date for the receipt of the Application Forms will have to attach the Certificate / Notification mentioning that the Candidate is declared eligible for award of Ph.D. Degree.
Desirable Experience: minimum of one year will be preferred in Teaching / Research / Industry.
Desirable Requirement: Candidates having Ph.D. from CFTIs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs etc., will be preferred. The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.
IIIT Manipur encourages its Faculty members to active research, consultancy and skill enhancement training for revenue generation. Candidates with qualified skills and capabilities resulting in revenue generation and Institute brand development are most encouraged to apply.

Pay: A monthly consolidated fixed pay of ` 75,000/-.
