Research/Job Area- Two guest lectures in the Department of Nanotechnology, NEHU Bionanotechnology, Nanoenergy (Nanoelectronics) Guest Faculty in Department of Mathematics, NEHU, Shillong Guest Faculty in Department of Biochemistry, NEHU, Shillong Guest Faculty in Department of Botany, NEHU, Shillong No. of Guest Faculty Positions available: 7 (seven) The specifications for the positions are as follows:

- Angiosperm Taxonomy, Economic Botany & Ethnobotany
- Plant Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
- Stress Biology, Bioprocess Development & Techniques in Molecular Biology

Guest Faculty in Department of Zoology, NEHU, Shillong Department of Statistics, NEHU, Shillong Location- North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India Eligibility/Qualification– Two guest lectures in the Department of Nanotechnology, NEHU Edn. Guest Faculty in Department of Mathematics, NEHU, Shillong l. M.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade).

- NET/SLET Qualified or equivalent as per UGC rule.

Guest Faculty in Department of Biochemistry, NEHU, Shillong The qualifications shall be same as per UGC Guidelines vide letter No.F23-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28 January, 2019 for the recruitment of faculty at the level of Asistant Professor. The salary and the selection process will be as per UGC/NEHU norms, Guest Faculty in Department of Botany, NEHU, Shillong The qualifications shall be same as per UGC Guidelines vide letter No.F.25-1/2018(PS/MISC) dated 28th January, 2019 for the recruitment of faculty at the level of Assistant Professor. The salary and the selection process will be as per UGC/NEHU norms.

Guest Faculty in Department of Zoology, NEHU, Shillong Essential Qualification

- M. Sc. In Zoology with minimum of 55% marks (Relaxation of 5% for ST/SC/OBC)
- Candidates should be UGC-NET/JRF/SLET qualified or Ph.D. degree holder in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or UGC Regulations 2016.





Desirable Qualification Teaching Experience in the University/institute at the PG level in Zoology (specifically on Animal physiology/Sfatistics & Bio-informatics/Ecology & Environmental Biology/Biosystematics & Evolution). Department of Statistics, NEHU, Shillong (i) A Good academic record with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applied) at the Master Degree level in Statistics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University,

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted at the UCC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.

Notwithstanding anything contained in (ii) above, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the IJGC Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of (ii).

Job/Position Description- Two guest lectures in the Department of Nanotechnology, NEHU Application for 2(two) posts of Guest Lecturer are invited in the Department of Nanotechnology NEHU, Shillong from the intending candidates having the following qualification and specializations for the even semester only.

The honorarium will be according to NEHU norms (1500/1ecturer) subject to maximum of Rs. 50,000.00 per month.
