We are seeking a skilled Gaurdicore Network Segmentation Specialist who is expert to join our IT team. This role involves planning, implementing, and managing network segmentation projects to enhance security and efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network topology, micro-segmentation, and traffic enforcement policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Topology Design: Assist in planning the logical network topology for micro-segmentation, determining how to group assets into segments.
2. Segmentation Implementation: Physically or logically separate network segments based on defined policies and deploy necessary network controls.
3. Solution Setup: Assist with network segmentation solution setup and integrations.
4. Agent Deployment: Assist with phased deployment of network segmentation solution agents for visibility into network traffic for critical application servers in the development workplace.
5. Policy Development and Deployment:
Develop and deploy network traffic enforcement policies based on ports, protocols, and application traffic analysis for critical servers in both development and production environments.
6. Documentation: Create comprehensive As-Built documents capturing the final state of network segmentation solutions, including setup, architecture, integrations, tagging strategy, policies, RBAC model, and RACI chart.
7. Coordination and Support: Coordinate with server teams for the deployment of necessary agents and assist the Guardicore Support team with troubleshooting complex issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management.
- Strong understanding of network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and related technologies.
- Experience with network security solutions like Guardicore.
- Ability to develop and implement network traffic policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications such as GCSA and GCSE.
- Experience in a large-scale, distributed environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
