Role Description The Group Chartered Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Worli, responsible for managing and overseeing the consolidated financial activities of the group. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing group-level accounts, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

The role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, as well as analyzing financial performance and providing recommendations to leadership.

The Group Chartered

Accountant will also standardize accounting processes across entities, support strategic financial planning, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors,



and business unit heads.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in financial accounting, group consolidation, and preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management to support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, IND AS), taxation principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and ERP software, as well as strong Excel and general data analysis skills.
- Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work accurately under timelines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is required; experience in group accounting or multi-entity environments is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in technology or services sectors, and familiarity with fast-growing or AI-driven businesses, will be an advantage.
