Role Overview :

As an SDET III at GreyOrange, you will serve as a technical leader within the quality engineering team, driving the automation strategy for our complex robotics and software platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software developers, and DevOps engineers, to ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. Your work will directly impact the performance of mission-critical logistics software, ensuring that our deployments remain robust and bug-free in high-stakes operational environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch to improve regression testing efficiency across multiple product lines.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex distributed systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.




- Conduct deep-dive API testing and backend validation to ensure seamless communication between microservices and hardware interfaces.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in test automation, code quality, and debugging techniques to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality metrics and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product requirements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Java or Python.
- Proven ability to build and manage robust test suites using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and PyTest.
- Strong proficiency in API testing and validating complex data flows within distributed architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and containerization technologies like Docker to streamline testing workflows.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical challenges and quality strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Gurgaon, maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation.
- Candidates must possess 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation engineering.
