We're looking for someone who doesn't just "make graphics" but understands stories, narratives, and public discourse.
What You'll Do
- Design social media creatives, posters, thumbnails, infographics and campaign assets.
- Create compelling YouTube thumbnails with strong CTR potential.
- Convert research and journalism into visually engaging content.
- Work closely with the research and editorial teams to develop impactful visual storytelling.
- Design election, governance and public policy communication material.
- Maintain consistency across brand identity and campaigns.
- Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva (After Effects is a bonus).
- Generative Ai
- Excellent understanding of typography, composition and colour.
- Ability to think beyond templates and create original concepts.
- Strong visual storytelling skills.
- Speed without compromising quality.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities evolve quickly.
Must Have
- Fluent Punjabi (Reading & Writing)
- Strong understanding of Punjabi politics and current affairs.
- Interest in journalism, elections, governance and public policy.
- Ability to work with researchers, journalists and content writers.
- Self-driven, proactive and highly accountable.
Bonus Points
- Experience designing for political campaigns or news organizations.
- Experience creating motion graphics.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and thumbnail psychology.
- Photography or video editing skills.
