Graphic Design Intern
Location: Noida (WFO)
Type: Full-time Internship (3-6 Months)
PPO Opportunity: Based on performance, taste, and how many times you say “the spacing still feels slightly off.”
About Us The Gourmet Jar is a premium clean-label food brand making preserves, conserves, sauces, pestos, honeys, and gourmet essentials with real ingredients you’d actually recognise.
We’re building a brand that sits somewhere between food, lifestyle, design, and internet culture. We care a lot about aesthetics, storytelling, packaging, branding, and making things feel premium without trying too hard.
From retail shelves and quick commerce apps to Instagram feeds and gifting boxes, everything we create is design-first.
If you’re someone who notices packaging before the actual product, welcome.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern who’s creatively online. Someone who saves references daily, has opinions on fonts, and understands that good branding is all about the details.
If your Pinterest boards are elite but impossible to explain, and your camera roll is full of screenshots of ads, packaging, and cool layouts, this might genuinely be your thing.
You’ll work closely with the brand and marketing team to create digital and offline creatives that feel fresh, premium, and culturally relevant.
What You’ll Do
- Design Instagram posts, stories, reels covers, website banners, and emailers
- Create campaign creatives for launches, gifting, retail, and quick commerce
- Assist in packaging design, mockups, gift boxes, standees, and brand collaterals
- Build moodboards and help shape campaign aesthetics
- Edit product images and make food look unreal
- Adapt creatives into multiple formats for Meta ads, Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, etc.
- Support photoshoots and content production
- Experiment with layouts,
typography, and visual storytelling
- Keep files organised enough so future-you doesn’t suffer
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hold and urge to learn Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma
- Strong eye for layouts, colour, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Someone who understands aesthetic internet culture, lifestyle branding, and current design trends
- Ability to take feedback well and improve quickly
- Attention to detail, because yes, we will notice alignment issues
- Basic video editing or motion graphics skills are a bonus
- A portfolio with taste > a portfolio with 200 random designs
Who you are
- Design obsessed
- Hungry to learn
- Chronically collecting references
- Fast with execution
- Curious about branding, packaging, and storytelling
- Someone who wants to make cool work, not just “content”
- Organised in a slightly chaotic, creative way
- What’s In It For You
- Real hands-on experience building a fast-growing premium lifestyle brand
- Your work actually goes live
- Exposure to branding, packaging, content strategy, shoots, and performance marketing
- Opportunity to work directly with founders and the creative team
- Freedom to experiment and pitch ideas
- PPO opportunity based on performance
- A genuinely creative setting where good ideas matter
- Also, unlimited exposure to gourmet food, aesthetic packaging, and discussions about whether this shade is cream, ivory, or oat milk
Bonus Points If You
- Follow design pages more than meme pages
- Spend unhealthy amounts of time on Pinterest or Behance
- Love luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or gourmet brands
- Have basic videography skills or an eye for content shoots
- Understand the difference between “minimal” and “empty”
