Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and validate curriculum-aligned content for Geography and Environmental Studies.

- Create lesson plans, study material, assessments, question banks, and answer keys.

- Ensure content aligns with CBSE/IGCSE/ guidelines.

- Incorporate environmental awareness, sustainability, and current affairs into content.

- Review question papers, worksheets, and evaluation rubrics.

- Collaborate with instructional designers, editors, and digital teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Geography / Environmental Studies / Social Sciences.

- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory for school roles).

- Masters degree in Geography or Environmental Studies (preferred).

Required Skills & Competencies

- Robust subject knowledge in Geography and Environmental Studies.

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

- Ability to make learning practical, activity-based, and student-centric.

- Familiarity with assessment methods and educational technology.

- Passion for environmental education and sustainability.

Experience

- Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience.

- Experience teaching middle/high school or higher secondary students preferred.
