Role Description The Geography Teacher for Grades 6–9 (IGCSE) will design and deliver engaging geography lessons aligned with IGCSE curriculum standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

The teacher will incorporate diverse teaching methods, manage classroom activities, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot,



requiring active participation in school events, professional development, and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with appropriate teaching credentials and training in education.
- Candidates should possess strong Lesson Planning and curriculum design skills tailored to Grades 6–9.
- Candidates should have solid subject knowledge in Geography and familiarity with the IGCSE syllabus.
- Candidates should demonstrate effective Teaching and classroom management skills within a school Education setting.
- Relevant teaching experience at middle school level and with IGCSE programs is highly beneficial.
- Robust communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and commitment to student-centered learning are expected.
- A bachelor’s degree in Geography, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in teaching are an advantage.
- Comfort with integrating educational technology into lessons and openness to ongoing professional development are preferred.
