Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional hospitality leader to transform Kanoka Village Resort into one of Northeast India's most professionally managed nature resorts.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

- Lead the overall operations of the resort and ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing management team across all departments.
- Establish strong systems, SOPs, KPIs and operational controls.
- Develop a culture of ownership, accountability, discipline and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, develop and retain talented hospitality professionals.
- Drive operational excellence across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, Security and Guest Services.
- Improve occupancy, guest experience, online reputation and operational efficiency.
- Implement preventive maintenance, quality assurance and service excellence programmes.
- Prepare and review management dashboards, departmental KPIs and operational reports.
- Work closely with the Directors on organisational development, expansion projects and long-term business growth.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a builder rather than a caretaker.

The ideal candidate should have:

- 1015 years of progressive experience in hotel or resort operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position (General Manager, Resort Manager, Resident Manager, Operations Head or equivalent).




- Proven experience in setting up, expanding or successfully turning around one or more hotels or resorts.
- Demonstrated success in building systems, SOPs and high-performing operational teams.
- Strong leadership, integrity and people development skills.
- Excellent ability to recruit, mentor and build capable department heads and future leaders.
- Strong professional network within the hospitality industry for sourcing quality talent.
- Excellent planning, execution, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Positive understanding of hospitality finance, budgeting and cost control.
- Comfortable relocating to a peaceful rural location in Assam and working hands-on with the leadership team.
- Candidates with experience in independent resorts, boutique hotels, destination wedding properties, nature resorts or hospitality start-ups will be preferred.
