About the Role:

Working closely with Sales, Procurement, Shipping, Warehouse and external partners, the General Manager will build strong cross-functional relationships while leading initiatives that enhance operational performance and support sustainable business growth.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

- Lead and manage end-to-end business operations across warehousing, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
- Oversee end-to-end shipment planning, transportation, and logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch, efficient delivery, cost optimization, and seamless coordination with transporters, freight partners, warehouses, and internal teams to meet customer and business commitments.
- Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, service levels, and cost efficiencies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures to support business objectives.
- Ensure timely procurement, inventory availability, and efficient order fulfilment.
- Monitor inventory performance and implement effective stock control practices.




- Build strong relationships with vendors, logistics partners, and key business stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and operational governance standards.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and operational best practices to enhance efficiency. Coach, and develop high performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Experience & Skills Required: To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. MBA will be preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or FMCG businesses.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimization.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen with experience managing budgets, operational performance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience implementing operational controls, SOPs, and performance management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
