: GCP Data Engineering – Data Architect (Exp: 12 Yrs to 16 Yrs)

We are seeking a seasoned GCP Data Architect with 12+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture to lead the design and delivery of large-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You will drive end-to-end data migration initiatives, define cloud data architecture standards, and mentor engineering teams building up-to-date, scalable data solutions.

- Experience should have 12 Years to 16 Years of Data Engineering.

- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Lead complex data migration programs from on-premises / legacy systems (Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, SQL Server, etc.) to GCP, covering assessment, strategy, execution, and validation.

- Design solutions leveraging GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Data Fusion, and Dataplex.

- Develop and optimize data processing frameworks using Python and PySpark for batch and streaming workloads.

- Write, review, and tune complex SQL for data transformation, modeling, and analytics on BigQuery and other databases.

- Build, schedule,



and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer, including DAG design, dependency management, and monitoring.

- Define data architecture standards, data modeling approaches (dimensional, data vault, lakehouse), and best practices for security, governance, and cost optimization.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Establish CI/CD, testing, and observability practices for data pipelines.

- Mentor and provide technical leadership to data engineering teams; conduct design and code reviews.

- Knowledge in Cloud SQL, Dataplex is a plus.

- Understanding on the SDLC.

- Understanding on the Agile methodologies.

- Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.

- Should have good oral and written communication.

- Should be a good team player.

- Should be proactive and adaptive.
