- Backend Development (Python / FastAPI / Spring Boot heritage):
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Build microservices that handle streaming data pipelines, real-time queries, and integrations with carriers (air and sea).
- Optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries, while working with NoSQL stores (Cassandra, Elasticsearch) for specialised use cases.
- Frontend Development (React + TypeScript):
- Develop user interfaces for operators, admins, and clients using React, with emphasis on seamless workflows (tabular data, live feeds, dashboards).
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and event streams.
- Implement reusable UI components with secure session management.
- LLM & AI Integration:
- Use LLMs to parse unstructured emails, documents, and packing lists into structured formats.
- Work on enrichment pipelines (Spark/Flink/Kafka) to prepare data for analytics and AI decision engines.




- Contribute to ML models for classification (e.g., enquiry vs. noise), document extraction, and predictive logistics features.
- DevOps & Infrastructure:
- Deploy services in Docker/Kubernetes across multi-region clusters.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid yet secure deployment.
- Handle scaling of workloads to thousands of servers across regions, ensuring low-latency response times.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Security & Compliance:
- Apply secure coding practices across backend and frontend.
- Protect user data with encryption, access controls, and secure session/token flows.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and audit logging requirements.
