Full Stack Developer (Node.js)

Rocketreels | Mumbai (In office) | Full-Time We are building a next-generation Microdrama OTT platform that serves millions of users. Our goal is to deliver a high-performance video platform that scales reliably while providing an excellent user experience.

What you will do

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

Develop high-performance microservices and event-driven systems

Build and optimize queues, background workers, and asynchronous workflows

Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries for scale

Collaborate with frontend and product teams to ship end-to-end features

Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS

Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code

Contribute to architecture discussions and improve system performance and reliability

Required skills

Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js

Experience with MongoDB and Redis

Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture

Experience building queues, workers, and scalable backend systems

Familiarity with React.js or Next.js

Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront)

Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Firebase Analytics

Nice to have

Experience with video transcoding pipelines





Knowledge of video streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH, or similar)

Experience building media delivery or OTT platforms

Who this role is for

1–3 years of professional experience (or equivalent hands-on project experience)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Passion for building products and learning new technologies

Self-driven with ownership mindset

Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
