The product is live, serving real clients, and growing. You'll be the engineer who owns it end-to-end.

THE ROLE AI-driven product work, not feature factories. This is a high-ownership role, not a team where you pick up tickets and close them. You'll work directly on an AI product roadmap, making architectural and product decisions alongside the founders.

Responsibilities What you'll be doing:

- Full technical ownership of the product
- Build and ship AI-powered features: LLM integrations, document processing, and intelligent search
- Work across the full stack: Node.js backend, vanilla JS frontend, PostgreSQL, and Redis job queues
- Integrate AI capabilities into product features using LLM APIs,



building prompts and pipelines that actually work in production
- Iterate quickly on features based on direct client feedback, with short cycles from idea to production
- Contribute to the product roadmap; you'll have a voice in what gets built and why
- Work directly with the founding team at Ekam Apps and the client What We're Looking For Strong fundamentals. Real curiosity about AI.
- 2–4 years of full stack experience with a strong Node.js foundation
- Genuine JavaScript depth: you understand the event loop, async patterns, and can work without a framework when needed
- Comfortable writing SQL and thinking about relational data models, not just ORMs
- Experience with async job processing: queues, workers, retry logic, failure handling
- Some exposure to AI/LLM integrations, even if informal. You've shipped something with an LLM API, built a RAG pipeline, or experimented with document processing
- Takes ownership seriously: you debug production issues, you care about performance, you don't wait to be told what to fix
- Comfortable working in ambiguity on a fast-moving product; things change, priorities shift, you adapt NICE TO HAVE Bonus points:
- Experience with Supabase or similar BaaS (auth, real-time, row-level security)
- Worked on PWAs, service workers, or offline-capable web apps
- Built multi-process Node.js applications with process isolation
- Contributed to prompt engineering, vector search, or embedding pipelines
- Worked at a startup or small product team where you shipped end-to-end TECH STACK What you'll be working with: You don't need to know all of this, but you should be comfortable picking it up quickly.
