Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring freight movement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to resolve any issues and provide updates.
- Track shipments and provide real-time status reports to clients.
- Support the team in optimizing logistics operations and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all freight activities.
- Learn and apply international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
