Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Freight Purchaser to manage the sourcing and procurement of transportation services The Freight Purchaser will be responsible for securing reliable carriers at competitive rates while ensuring service quality compliance and on-time delivery Key Responsibilities Source evaluate and onboard carriers for freight transportation Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers Monitor market conditions to secure cost-effective transportation solutions Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to meet shipping requirements Track carrier performance and resolve service issues Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies Maintain accurate records of rates contracts and carrier documentation Build and maintain long-term carrier relationships Qualifications Skills Experience in freight purchasing logistics transportation or supply chain roles Solid negotiation and analytical skills Knowledge of transportation modes FTL LTL intermodal etc Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Proficiency with TMS software and Microsoft Office Strong communication and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent logistics or supply chain education is an asset Preferred Qualifications Experience working with North American carriers Familiarity with freight rate benchmarking and market analysis Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Ability to commute relocate Panchkula Haryana Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Location Panchkula Haryana Required Shift availability Night Shift Required Overnight Shift Required Work Location In person
