Role Description This is a part-time Freelance Interior Designer role focused on residential builder floors, structured as a hybrid position based in Gurugram with some flexibility for work from home.

The Interior

Designer will collaborate with the real estate and project teams to develop interior concepts, layouts, and mood boards aligned with client requirements and budget. Daily tasks include site visits, space planning, selection of materials and finishes, coordination with vendors and contractors, and monitoring design implementation to ensure quality and timelines. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and specifications,



presenting design options to clients, and adjusting plans based on feedback. The designer will also support sourcing of furnishings and accessories, maintain documentation, and ensure designs reflect current trends, functionality, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to create functional and aesthetic interior layouts for residential builder floors, including space planning and design detailing.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software for drawings, 3D views, and presentations.
- Strong skills in material, finish, and color selection, with knowledge of current residential design trends and local market options.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers, and managing site execution to align with design specifications.
- Effective client communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand and translate client needs into design solutions.
- Good time management and project coordination abilities to handle multiple sites and deadlines in a freelance, part time setup.
- Prior experience in residential interiors, preferably builder floors or similar projects in Gurugram or the NCR region.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
