Role Description This is a full-time, remote Freelance Graphic Designer role. The designer will work closely with product and content teams to create visual assets for the app, social media, marketing campaigns, and learning materials.

Day-to-day tasks include designing illustrations, icons, layouts, and branded visuals that reflect diverse African cultures and languages, while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. The role involves translating creative briefs into polished designs, preparing files for digital use, iterating based on feedback,



and collaborating asynchronously across time zones. The designer is expected to manage their own schedule, meet deadlines reliably, and proactively propose visual ideas that enhance user engagement and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in graphics and graphic design, with a robust portfolio of digital design work.
- Experience in logo design and branding, including creating cohesive visual identities for products or campaigns.
- Strong understanding of typography and its application in digital interfaces and learning content.
- Advanced skills in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, work independently in a remote setting, and deliver on tight timelines.
- Familiarity with African cultures, languages, or edtech products is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in design, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial.
