We're looking for a Founding Engineer – Industrial Automation to become one of the earliest members of our engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you'll not only help shape our technology but also the engineering culture of the company.

What You'll Do

- Lead the continued development and evolution of MIVA OS , our unified industrial automation platform.
- Build and mentor a growing engineering team responsible for MIVA's product portfolio.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom industrial automation solutions for customers across multiple industries.
- Program and commission industrial robots, PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
- Develop software that integrates robotics, vision systems, sensors, IIoT devices, and factory equipment.
- Design mechanical systems, fixtures, and end-effectors for automation applications.
- Work closely with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new automation products from concept to deployment.





What We're Looking For
- Strong experience (4 years+) in industrial automation, robotics, or mechatronics.
- Hands-on experience with PLC Programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
- Experience with Industrial Robot Programming (KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Universal Robots, Yaskawa, etc.).
- Valuable software development skills (Python, C++, C#, or similar).
- Experience with ROS / ROS2 .
- CAD design experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
- Experience integrating sensors, machine vision, pneumatics, and servo systems.
- Familiarity with Digital Twins, IIoT, or industrial software platforms is a plus.
