Why this role exists The day doesn't have enough hours.
Two ventures. Both pre-launch. Both going live in roughly the same window.
I need someone who can take a real chunk of what's on my plate and run with it. Not a chief of staff. Not an EA. Closer to a junior partner on whatever's most on fire that week.
What you'd actually do
Work moves with priorities In any given week, expect any combination of these. All of it splits across both ventures.
Scope vague problems into real plans with owners and dates
Find, evaluate, negotiate and close vendors — tech and non-tech
Run marketing day-to-day with brand, PR, performance and content agencies
Run hiring loops as we add to both teams
Meeting hygiene: pre-reads, notes, follow-ups closed before the next call
Talk to early users; turn what you hear into product and GTM input
Build whatever tracker, dashboard or internal tool keeps things from spilling over
Draft decks, memos, proposals and positioning notes that need to go out
Anything I'd otherwise do myself
Who I'm looking for
Three things I'm screening for
01
You pressure-test your own logic
You don't confuse confidence for correctness. When I ask you to look into something, you come back with an answer and a recommendation. Not a summary.
02
You break work to the unit task
When something's stuck, you can usually trace it back to a single missing input or one owner who hasn't been told it's their problem. You like crossing things off lists.
03
You think two or three moves ahead
If we hire X, what does that mean for who reports where in six months. You catch the second-order stuff before someone else has to point it out.
What you bring The basics
2–5 years of relevant reps
Consulting, early-stage startup, product or strategy.
Or you ran something of your own that didn't fully work — often the best signal.
Comfort with ambiguity
If you'll need a JD that updates monthly, this isn't it.
Clean writing
Most of what you do ends up as a doc someone has to read.
In Hyderabad, in office
Hyderabad-based or willing to move. Founder's Office work doesn't happen on Slack.
Bonus, not required
You've built or scaled something before. Comfortable with data, simple SQL, basic AI tooling. Prior exposure to fintech, gig economy, education or B2B SaaS.
What it'll actually feel like
Founder-adjacent cadence
Long days, occasional late nights, weekends when something's on fire. Most weeks aren't that. But there's no 6pm hard stop either.
You'll be in hiring calls, vendor negotiations, pre-launch product reviews, and the occasional financial conversation. Discretion isn't optional.
Light milestones
How we'll measure it
1
Week 4
Own a workstream end-to-end
2
Week 8
Running a couple in parallel
3
Week 12
We both know if there's a longer-term shape
This isn't for you if
Save us both the time
You want a calendar that respects 6pm
You'd rather recommend than decide
You're looking for remote or hybrid
You need to be told what's next The deal
What you walk away with
Front-row seat
Two 0-to-1 builds happening in parallel, in real time.
Relationships
Agency and vendor relationships you'll keep well past three months.
A real reference
From someone who watched you work, not from a job title.
3 months, full time, in-office. Compensation: TBD. End of three months, we either find a longer-term shape together or we don't. Either way, no ghosting.
Closes in 48 hours
How to apply
Fill the form. Quick screen, fast decision. Don't sit on it.
