- Daily Planning: Supervise shift production workflows to ensure daily targets and delivery schedules are met.
- Asset Allocation: Manage shift personnel, industrial hammers, presses, and heating furnaces efficiently.
- Maintenance Coordination: Monitor machine performance, handle equipment troubleshooting, and coordinate breakdown repairs.
2. Process Optimization & Quality Control
- Efficiency Improvements: Analyze manufacturing methods to boost productivity, minimize metal wastage, and lower costs.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce quality standards (including CGMP/IATF guidelines) to ensure products meet design blueprints.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve immediate engineering or process bottlenecks directly on the factory floor.
3. Safety, Collaboration & Documentation
- Safety Enforcement:
Implement and enforce strict workplace safety protocols to prevent hot forge accidents.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate with the design, quality inspection, logistics, and management teams.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive shift logs, production documentation, and operator output procedures
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience managing Hot Forge / Stamp production activities.
- Leadership: Proven ability to train, supervise, and motivate shop-floor operators.
- Technical Skills: Explicit understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing systems, and quality control.
