Aiva Products is a food importing and distribution company specializing in high-quality pantry staples and specialty food products. Our extensive portfolio includes nuts, seeds, dried fruits, spices, grains, flours, lentils, cooking ingredients, oils, snacks, and a wide range of grocery products distributed across international markets.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Safety & Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Rajkot, Gujarat. This is an in-office position that requires close coordination with our U.S. headquarters, suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party co-packers.

Position

Summary The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving food safety and quality assurance programs across the company’s supply chain. The candidate will work closely with Aiva Products’ U.S. headquarters while managing food safety, quality, compliance, supplier performance, and corrective action activities from the Rajkot office. Key Responsibilities

Manage food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance programs across suppliers and co-packers.

Verify HACCP, GMP, sanitation, allergen control, traceability,



recalls.

Investigate complaints and quality issues, and manage corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.

Monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to the U.S. headquarters.

Review ERP forecasts, create purchase orders, place orders with suppliers, and track each order through completion and closure.

Monitor production schedules, shipment timelines, inventory requirements, and supplier follow-ups to ensure timely delivery.

Verify import and quality documents, including ISF filings, fumigation certificates, phytosanitary certificates, Certificates of Analysis, Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Food, Microbiology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience in food safety, quality assurance, supplier management, purchasing, inventory planning, and import coordination.

Knowledge of HACCP, HARPC, GMP, CAPA, ERP systems, demand forecasting, purchase orders, and import documentation.

Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
