We are looking for an experienced Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite Analyst to support Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations across on-premises and cloud-based Flexera One environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with FlexNet Manager Suite, software discovery, inventory management, automation, scripting, and enterprise integrations in a large-scale IT workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite in an enterprise environment.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Flexera Beacons.
- Manage software discovery and inventory using agent-based and agentless methods.
- Optimize beacon architecture, including migrations to strategic operating systems.
- Troubleshoot inventory, discovery, and license reconciliation issues.
- Develop automation scripts to support SAM and ITAM processes.
- Support integrations with ServiceNow CMDB and other enterprise systems.
- Maintain software license compliance and improve data quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and configurations.
- Collaborate with global teams to support platform operations and enhancements.
Mandatory Skills
Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite
- Hands-on experience with Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite.
- Beacon configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Software inventory and discovery management.
- Agent-based and agentless discovery methods.
- NDI file handling and processing (Windows/Unix/Linux).
- License reconciliation and Software Asset Management.
Infrastructure & Administration
- Windows Server Administration.
- Active Directory (Users, Groups, OUs, Integration).
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- SQL query writing and troubleshooting.
- Networking fundamentals (Subnets, VLANs, Firewall Rules, Proxy Configuration).
- Enterprise security and least-privilege principles.
Automation & Scripting
- PowerShell scripting.
- Python scripting.
- REST/SOAP API integration.
- SQL data handling and scheduled tasks.
- Bulk data processing and staging pipelines.
- Script documentation and production support.
