Key Responsibilities

Security:

- Protect company assets / material from physical damage, theft, pilferage, encroachment of land/site and ensure the security of company associates at all times
- Supervision of access control & material handling at the gates by undertaking daily check of security documents, visitor management, material inward & outward movement, lock & key management at site or residential complex
- Verify daily deployment of security guards of various security agencies in the assigned area of responsibility & report irregularities in deployment or state of alertness among security supervisors & guards
- Supervision and conduct of training for on-roll and outsourced security staff. Monitor performance, discipline, decorum and alertness of security agency personnel during daily round of duty
- Detailed guard mounting briefing & on-job training of security personnel at project and residential locations
- Undertake periodic check of state of readiness and alertness for potential emergency situations, including medical emergency & fire fighting

Fire & Safety:

- Make sure that all fire and life safety equipment are where they are meant to be at all times and all fire protection systems like smoke detectors, fire alarms, sprinklers, etc. are all installed properly and also functional at all times
- Plan and deliver relevant life safety workshops/ training sessions for the security, house-keeping staff & other employees. Conduct effective mock fire emergency drills and rehearsals.




- Ensure that emergency procedures are put in place and made as transparent as possible so that the occupants would know how to go about things in case of an emergency
- Organize and conduct fire drills/simulations to check the preparedness of fire prevention/protection systems
- Work closely with external fire service departments to be able to build a strong and feasible emergency response plan
- Perform fire and safety risk assessments, including identifying and minimizing fire hazards and safety code violations
- During actual emergency situations, lead and carry out firefighting and rescue activities as per the assigned duties and safety procedures
- Handle the fire fighters actions, when deployed, to control and protect life and property

Skills:

- Clear and assertive communication with strong organizational ability when dealing with staff and occupants/residents
- Ability to evaluate situations effectively and identify critical issues quickly & accurately
- Ability to be calm in response to emergency situations and be consistently alert with a keen eye for detail

Qualification: Any graduate with relevant fire safety training/ certification

Practice and Other Requirements: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
