We Are Hiring: Officer – Fire & Security

Location: The Amaryllis by Unity Group, New Rohtak Road, Karol Bagh, Current Delhi

About the Project:

The Amaryllis is a premier luxury high-rise residential township spread across 40 acres in Central Delhi. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and vigilant Fire & Safety Officer to lead fire risk management, emergency preparedness, life-safety operations, and regulatory compliance across the property.

Department: Security / Safety

Reports To: Security Supervisor / Safety Manager

Job Summary The Fire and Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role includes monitoring fire safety systems, conducting security patrols, responding to emergencies, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring compliance with fire and security policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor CCTV cameras, fire alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify security or fire hazards.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, security incidents, and emergencies.
- Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers, hydrants, emergency exits, and other fire safety equipment.
- Report safety hazards, suspicious activities, and security breaches to management.
- Control access to the facility and verify the identity of visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies and coordinate with emergency services.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and daily security activities.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable fire and security regulations.
- Participate in fire drills, emergency response training, and safety awareness programs.




- Provide assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in fire safety or security operations is preferred.
- Previous experience in security, fire safety, or emergency response is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of fire prevention, emergency procedures, and security systems.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and emergency response duties.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Working Conditions

- Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Regular indoor and outdoor patrols.
- May require standing, walking, and responding to emergency situations.

Performance Indicators

- Timely response to incidents and emergencies.
- Compliance with fire and security procedures.
- Accuracy and completeness of incident reports.
- Effective monitoring and protection of company assets.
- Positive safety audit and inspection results.

Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 Years (Real Estate / High-Rise Residential / Commercial Facilities preferred)
